Cool Construction Concepts began as Cool Concepts LLC. That original idea still defines the company: a home for concepts that can be explored, developed, constructed, and brought into the real world.
Here, “construction” is a metaphor for Daniel’s way of creating. See an opportunity, imagine what it could become, figure out how it might work, then build the idea into something real—a business, product, invention, book, educational program, media project, or new venture.
The industries have changed; the process has not. Roofing and construction are important chapters in Daniel’s experience and expertise, but Cool Construction Concepts is broader than a traditional construction company. It is where Daniel develops ideas and brings them into reality.

It started in 1987 with a spatula. Daniel watched his mom scrape the last of her lotion from a bottle because the pump tube couldn’t reach the bottom. That afternoon, he cut a milkshake straw, duct-taped it to the pump tube, and got more of the product out.
Years later, that improvised idea became Last Squirt™: an extender that attaches to a pump or spray tube to help it reach farther into the bottle. Remove the dispenser, fit the extender to the tube, and return the dispenser to the bottle.
Consumer Reports testing found that 17–25% of lotion may remain in a pump bottle after the pump action no longer works.1 The amount left—and how much an extender can recover—varies by bottle and product.
